Leadership

Prior to assuming his current role in 2018, Tom served as the Company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President of Operations, and Director of Engineering. Tom began his career with Unitil in 1994 and has been a leader in engineering and operations throughout his tenure. Tom also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of both the Edison Electric Institute and the American Gas Association.

Prior to his current role, Bob served as the Company’s Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer. Bob joined Unitil in 2020, bringing over 30 years of experience in the energy and utility industries, with an emphasis in finance, regulation, planning, and strategic transactions.  Bob is a CFA Charterholder.

Prior to his current role, Dan served as the Company’s Chief Accounting Officer and Controller. Dan joined Unitil in 2020 with 20 years of accounting expertise and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Kat oversees external affairs for the Company and all aspects of the customer experience, including customer service, customer growth, matters of public policy, communications, and community and stakeholder engagement. Kat is an active member of the NH Bar Association and has extensive experience in energy policy, legislative processes, and public affairs. She joined Unitil in 2019.

Kevin oversees all aspects of electric operations and engineering, including the safe and reliable planning and design of the system, grid modernization, field operations, metering, dispatch and emergency response. He joined Unitil in 1996 and has served in various engineering and operations roles throughout his 30-year career. He is a licensed professional engineer in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Chris oversees all aspects of gas operations and engineering, including transmission and distribution system planning and engineering, safety, field work, and emergency response. He joined Unitil in 2000 and has over 30 years of experience in natural gas construction and operations.

John oversees shared services and human resources, and plays a key role in Unitil’s corporate and utility operations. He also leads information technology, forestry, safety, environmental services, sustainability initiatives, and fleet and facilities management. He has been with Unitil since 2008.

Carleton oversees compliance with the Securities Exchange Commission and legal work in all state and federal jurisdictions for the Company. Carleton worked at Unitil beginning in 2013, serving in a variety of legal, engineering, and government affairs roles. From 2021 to 2024, Carleton served on the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission. He returned to Unitil, first working for Unitil's Massachusetts utility and he is now responsible for corporate governance and legal affairs across the company.
