Solar project planned for Fitchburg site with history of energy production

In a week, a Vermont-based company will install solar panels on the metal poles erected on a lot on Sawyer Passway, which will produce 1.3 megawatts of electricity for customers of Unitil, a natural gas and electricity provider.
