Unitil Gives United Way A Boost

Company and employees pledge over $11,000

Unitil, (www.unitil.com), a provider of natural gas and electricity to customers in New England, and their employees have pledged $11,139 to United Way of North Central Massachusetts.  

“We once again want to thank Unitil and their employees for their generosity, which will go toward important local programming in the area health, education and financial stability,” said Phil Grzewinski, president of United Way of North Central Massachusetts.

“We have supported the work of United Way for decades because of their innovative approach to addressing community issues, from early childhood literacy to its work that is focused on childhood hunger,” said Alec O’Meara, media relations manager for Unitil.

United Way of North Central Massachusetts is a local, independent nonprofit, that supports over 35 programs and initiatives in the area of health, education and financial stability in 22 communities in North Central Massachusetts.
