One Time Excess Credit Transfer Request

Massachusetts customers with accumulated Distributed Generation (solar) credit balances can make a one time transfer of credits between 7/1/2026 and 12/31/2026.

There is no minimal balance required to participate and credits may be transferred to more than one account; however, each account is limited to one transfer request. All requests must follow applicable incentive program rules. Customers with excess balances are encouraged to update future credit allocations using the Schedule Z (PDF) or SMART AOBC Allocation Spreadsheet to avoid build-up of future credits.
